About Infra

Infra (formerly the Missouri Limestone Producers Association or MLPA) promotes and protects the interests of construction aggregates (stone, sand, and gravel) producers located or doing business in the state. Since its founding in 1944, the organization has helped grow the stone, sand and gravel industry – one that employs over 2,500 people with yearly payrolls in excess of $70 million collectively producing millions of metric tons of material. Our full time staff operates from our headquarters located just blocks from the Missouri state capitol in Jefferson City. Our members include producers, those engaged in a variety of mining operations, and suppliers of goods and services to the industry.

Infra is actively involved in legislative issues at both the state and federal level that impact our industry. This includes matters of employment, safety, allocation of highway funds, taxation and environmental regulation.
